How to Create a Redgate Account (App Registration)

To keep our service secure and provide the best onboarding experience, Redgate no longer supports account registration through the website. All new accounts must be created directly inside the Redgate app on your device.

Step 1 — Download the Redgate App

First, download the official Redgate app for your platform. Visit our Download page for direct links to each platform’s app store or installer.

  • iOS (iPhone / iPad) — Available on the App Store. If the app is not available in your region’s App Store, please refer to our iOS region-switching guide.
  • Android — Download the APK directly from our Download page or via Google Play (where available).
  • Windows — Download the installer (.exe) from our Download page and run it.
  • macOS — Download the .dmg package from our Download page.

Step 2 — Open the App and Tap “Register”

After installing the app, open it. On the login screen, tap or click Register (or Sign Up / Create Account — the exact wording may vary slightly by platform).

Step 3 — Enter Your Details

Fill in the registration form inside the app:

  • Email address — Use a valid email address. You will receive a verification email.
  • Password — Choose a strong password (at least 8 characters, mixing letters, numbers, and symbols).

Tap Submit to create your account.

Step 4 — Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email from Redgate. Click the confirmation link in the email to activate your account. If you do not see it within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

Step 5 — Log In and Connect

Once your email is verified, return to the app and log in with your new credentials. You can start using Redgate immediately — new accounts come with a short free trial so you can test the service before subscribing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I register on the website?

We closed web-based registration as part of an ongoing effort to improve account security and reduce automated sign-up abuse. The in-app registration process includes additional device-level verification that is not possible through the website.

I already have an account — can I still log in on the website?

Yes. Existing accounts can still be managed through the website. Only new account registration has moved to the app.

I did not receive the verification email.

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If the email is not there after 10 minutes, use the Resend Verification Email option in the app, or contact our support team for assistance.

Which platforms are supported?

Redgate currently supports iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS. Linux support is planned for a future release.
