At Redgate, your privacy is our top priority. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create a Redgate account, we collect your email address (or mobile number) and a hashed password. We do not require your real name, address, or any other personally identifying information.
Payment Information
Payment is processed by third-party payment providers. We receive only a transaction confirmation and an order reference — we never store full card numbers or bank details on our servers.
Connection Data — We Do NOT Collect
We do not log your IP address, the websites you visit, the content of your communications, your connection timestamps, or your bandwidth usage. Our VPN servers are configured with no persistent session logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process payments and issue subscription receipts
- To send service-related notifications (e.g., subscription renewal reminders)
- To respond to customer support requests
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting our support team. We will process deletion requests within 7 business days.
4. Security
All data stored on our servers is encrypted at rest. All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. Access to production databases is restricted to a small number of authorised engineers and requires multi-factor authentication.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users via in-app notification or email. The updated policy will always be available on this page.
6. Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, please contact our support team.
